I bought this laptop, but I've had a TERRIBLE experience. Whenever the GPU is used even slightly, the laptop turns off. I even contacted the "CEO office" and was assured the issue would be addressed. However, after the repair, it came back with the same motherboard and the exact same issue. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this company. I can't believe they could fail this badly. This has been a huge letdown, and I feel completely let down by ASUS.

Ps5 can achieve 4k HDR with fixed 120 FPS all for $500. So why exactly would we pay 2500+ for a lesser setup?

Didn't know I could go back to windows 10 and it was too late to do it. Grrr

from what I've understood until now...WiFi6 comes in 3 flavors: -on 5GHz uses 160Mhz channel with all packages included (mu-mimo,1024QAM,OFDMA, BSS color ...etc) -on 6GHz...this uses other extra band of 6GHz instead of old 5GHz and uses a channel of 160MHz or 320Mhz and it is called WiFi6E, again with all packages included or better (mu-mimo etc) -on 2.4ghz there is wifi6... don't know the channel but maybe it has all packages of wifi 6 like mu-mimo and others on all this flavours...can someone enlight me on the next question: -how will I take advantage of this new technologies in WiFi..if my client devices don't have wifi cards compatible for such wifi specs? -will my IoT LAN be better on the crowded 2.4GHz because wifi6 is on 2.4 also? even though all iot client devices don't know anything about mu-mimo 1024QAM etc how come we focus on speeds and not on crowded networks?

It also doesn't have GPS so u can't use it for car navigation

I guess youtubers havent heard the word Steam Big Picture and they keep on whining about the OS without realizing that this OS is the most stable when it comes to gaming. You can practically do anything on it seriously when they crying so much

Windows really is trash for mobile gaming. All those ponies and the thing can't make it past 2 hours without dying. Steam Deck is still king both LCD and Oled

This is typical MS behavior when it comes to operating systems. Go back and look at their history. Every time MS created a new good operating system the next one sucked and a decent one came out again then the next one sucked. On and On it goes. Win 11 is the current disaster to come out after Win 10. Win 7 was decent and the user had more controls over the system and the computer it was on. Remember 8.0 with no start menu? 8.1 had to replace that. Microsoft is not your friend and never was.

I have preordered Ally X to go away from Steam Deck. Given how long is SteamOS alive, everytime I turn it on, it has problems, crashes. When I was trying Legion GO I thought Windows 11 was not doing good, but now I'd say Windows 11 on handheld is as decent as SteamOS na Deck. Deck is not powerful enough to run modern games eg. Spider-Man remastered decently. 16GB ram is not enough even on Deck - Spider-Man is a perfect example where it lags just because Deck doesn't have enough RAM and has to swap on SSD. So 24GB RAM, bigger battery, 2280 SSD format, powerful processor, not too big display, Gamepass, Epic, etc. I hope SD slot problems will be fixed. It's very expensive, but I think it'll be a blast.

HI I am so tempted to upgrade to the Allly X , My current the sd slot died after a year and two months ,and i turned it into a 4tb Rog Ally which would still work in the new one👍
